BRIEF HISTORY

The foundation stone of St. Joseph Provincial house was blessed by Rt. Rev. Dr. Stanley Roman (Bishop of Quilon) and laid by Very Rev. Fr. Luis Arostegui OCD (Superior General) on March 11, 2004 in the presence of Rt. Rev. Dr. Joseph G. Fernandez (Bishop Emeritus of Quilon), Rt. Rev. Dr. Mathias Kappil (Bishop of Punalur), Very Rev. Fr. Xavier Jayaraj OCD (Definitor General, Rome), Very Rev. Fr. Bernadine Mary Luis OCD and the members of South Kerala Province.

The building was completed and then blessed by Rt. Rev. Dr. Stanley Roman D.D (Bishop of Quilon) and inaugurated by Very Rev. Fr. Bernadine Mary Luis OCD (Provincial of South Kerala Province) on March 19, 2005.
