The Secular Carmel is a community of lay faithful who are called to live the rich spirituality of the Carmelite Order while remaining in their ordinary daily lives. They do not live in monasteries but embrace a deep life of prayer, contemplation, and service in the world.
Belonging to the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites (OCDS), members strive to grow in union with God by following the teachings and spiritual heritage of the Carmelite saints.
