https://carmelitemissionstz.org/The Regional Vicariate of Tanzania is a mission territory of the Karnataka–Goa Province (OCD). It emerged from the missionary efforts of the province in East Africa and has grown into a well-established Carmelite presence in Tanzania.

History
The Tanzania mission was initiated by the Karnataka–Goa Province after exploratory visits by Carmelite missionaries. Over the years it expanded into a Regional Vicariate with local vocations, parishes, formation houses, and social ministries. In 2022 the Vicariate celebrated the Ruby Jubilee (40 years of Carmelite presence in Tanzania).
