The Delhi Province of the Order of Discalced Carmelites (OCD) is dedicated to living and promoting the Carmelite charism of prayer, contemplation, fraternity, and apostolic service. Inspired by the teachings of St. Teresa of Avila, St. John of the Cross, and St. Thérèse of Lisieux, the Province serves the Church through pastoral ministry, formation, education, retreats, social outreach, and missionary activity.
Rooted in a deep relationship with Christ and guided by the spirit of Carmel, the Province strives to bring the Gospel to people of diverse cultures and backgrounds across North India. Through its communities and ministries, it seeks to be a witness to God’s love, fostering spiritual growth, human dignity, and Christian values.
